Reviews
Decided to take a chance on this place after living in Blairsville for several years. Went in with zero expectations, and honestly I was blown away. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and the food??? The food was SO good I ended up ordering a dish to go just to have the next day. Now it's a regular haunt, and I tell everyone I can to check it out. You won't regret it!
Good chain Mexican food, especially for a low-key strip mall in Central PA. Went here for lunch with a group of five people on a Sunday and had no wait. Service was casual; we got some chips and mild salsa right away. The food is just fine; very large menu with all of the typical platters you get at a Mexican place (chicken, beef, shrimp; enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, fajitas; some vegetarian and lunch specials). Portions are on the large side. The chicken enchiladas were particularly good; stuffed with chicken and covered with a relatively mild green sauce. We got a few vegetarian dishes (spinach burrito; spinach quesadilla; mushroom burrito). All of them had a lot of filling, so they felt like solid vegetarian options, though the spinach ones in particular were very salty.
I had easily the best burrito I've ever had at this place. I ordered the burritos tapatios with no cheese and add spicy tomatillo sauce and it delivered!! Everything was cooked so perfectly! My husband got the fajita burrito with steak and also loved his. Very unexpected place in Indiana, but we will be back. Very laid back atmosphere. Only complaint was it took awhile to be seated, and later on our server, Jesus, asked us if we wanted the check and a box, then disappeared and cleaned tables with no patrons around for awhile. We had to remind him 10-15 min later that we were still waiting for our check. That's my only reason for taking away a star. Otherwise the food was really good!
This is by far one of me and my partner's favorite places to go. We end up there at least once a month. I've never been to a restaurant with such high quality authentic food while also serving you your food in under 7 minutes! I can't recommend this restaurant enough to any locals or visitors passing through!
The food is ok.. not great. But not horrible.. gringo friendly. Love the alcohol.. Tina makes the visit..
